Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes, IDEA, and best practices in school OT
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services within the school environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with all required guidelines
  • Offer recommendations for classroom adaptations and assistive devices as appropriate
