High School 3rd Grade Occupational Therapist School Setting - Houston, TX

Step into a rewarding role supporting students as an Occupational Therapist, providing exceptional care and expertise during a maternity leave assignment. The contract runs from April 13th, 2026 through the end of the school year, offering you flexibility with both part-time and full-time schedules considered. A hybrid work arrangement is also possible, blending onsite engagement with remote opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience supporting school-aged children across different grade levels (Kindergarten, 2nd–4th Grade, High School)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and administrators
• Ability to tailor interventions for diverse student needs in an educational context
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation processes
• Motivated, flexible, and organized approach to supporting students and teammates

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group OT services for students in various grade levels
• Assess students’ needs, develop targeted treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, goal setting, and progress reporting
• Provide training and guidance for staff, students, and families as needed
• Maintain accurate records in line with school policies
