Key Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapist (OT), with active licensure in Minnesota
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
- Comfortable adapting therapy techniques to both individual and group sessions
- Familiarity with the use of assistive technology and adaptive equipment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ needs in coordination with educational teams
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance students' academic performance and daily living skills
- Provide direct occupational therapy services, documenting progress and adjusting plans as necessary
- Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and school personnel to support student outcomes
