Key Qualifications:

  • Certified Occupational Therapist (OT), with active licensure in Minnesota
  • Demonstrated experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
  • Comfortable adapting therapy techniques to both individual and group sessions
  • Familiarity with the use of assistive technology and adaptive equipment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ needs in coordination with educational teams
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance students' academic performance and daily living skills
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services, documenting progress and adjusting plans as necessary
  • Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
  • Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and school personnel to support student outcomes
