Occupational Therapist School Setting in Hudson, NY

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active NY Occupational Therapist Registration (OTR)
• Prior experience in school settings, home health, and teletherapy
• Strong background in healthcare-related OT practices
• Demonstrated ability to supervise or mentor other therapists
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership qualities; ability to foster teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students during ESY (3 hours/day, 15 hours/week from 8–11am) and NSY (37.5-40 hours/week)
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
• Oversee, supervise, and support other Occupational Therapists on the team, ensuring best practices and cohesive communication
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized plans, documentation, and progress tracking
• Prioritize student engagement and participation, adapting interventions as needed
• Contribute to a positive, supportive school culture
