Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid NC Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and goal setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt strategies to suit various learning and developmental needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assess students’ fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
• Develop and implement individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to optimize support for each child
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for student plans
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress
• Support generalization of skills across academic and community settings
