Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the state or eligibility to obtain
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Recent experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students’ functional, sensory, and motor skills related to educational goals
- Develop tailored intervention strategies that address each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students according to IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development
