Working with a focused caseload of just three students, you’ll offer direct, student-centered OT support—helping children regain crucial momentum after a pause in services that began last March. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in fostering their growth and supporting their educational journey.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in New York State
  • School-based OT experience preferred; Charter school setting a plus
  • Strong understanding of pediatric OT principles and IEP process
  • Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond with sensitivity to students’ unique needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct Occupational Therapy interventions to assigned students
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to identify each student’s needs and progress
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate daily with educators, school staff, and families to support student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough and timely records of all therapy sessions and communications
  • Participate in relevant multi-disciplinary meetings as required
