Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active OT license in the state of New York
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process and ability to implement individualized intervention plans
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to address fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Administer evaluations and interpret results to determine students’ needs
  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Educate and consult with school staff and families on strategies to support students within the classroom and at home
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress notes, and required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student success
