Seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapists for contract positions supporting K-12 students in a dynamic school environment near Hyattsville, MD. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working within a K-12 school setting preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
• Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs and developmental levels

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Document progress, maintain compliance with school system and regulatory requirements
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and functional life skills needed for classroom success
• Offer training and resources to teachers and support staff to maximize student benefit from interventions
