School Occupational Therapist | Independence, Missouri

You'll collaborate closely with school staff to help students achieve their fullest potential in an educational setting.

What We're Looking For:

• Active Occupational Therapist license (OT) in Missouri
• Previous experience in a school-based role preferred
• Knowledge of IEPs, assessments, and therapeutic interventions for students aged pre-K through high school
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and other support staff
• Adaptability to work across multiple sites within the district
• Ability to manage documentation accurately and efficiently
• Commitment to providing services exclusively onsite during this assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver occupational therapy services to assigned students in accordance with IEP objectives
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences
• Travel between multiple school locations each week as needed
