Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid license as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based OT services
- Background working in home health or healthcare OT settings is a plus
- Confidence managing caseloads ranging from 45-50 students
- Ability to work effectively with PreK through 12th-grade populations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs within the school environment
- Develop individualized therapy plans and provide direct intervention
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation on student progress and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaborations
- Support the academic and functional success of students with diverse needs
