A K-12 school in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in the Special Education process to support students under a contract extending through the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with parents, educators, and district staff to develop and implement appropriate support plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports aligned with student goals and deadlines
- Prioritize caseload management ensuring timely delivery of services and compliance with all special education requirements
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the Special Education process and related federal and state regulations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cohesively with school staff and families
- Valid Occupational Therapy license as required by California
Benefits and Compensation:
- Hourly W2 pay ranging from $58 to $73
- Health, vision, and dental insurance available for contractors working 30+ hours per week
- Paid sick leave accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked
