This full-time, contract position offers the chance to work as an itinerant professional, supporting students across multiple sites in a district near Irvine, CA.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with teams to evaluate students and recommend Assistive Technology solutions that enable greater access and independence within their educational environments.

Key Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for California
• Demonstrated experience with Assistive Technology and related evaluations
• Strong knowledge of best practices for supporting students with diverse physical, cognitive, and learning needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Previous school-based or pediatric OT experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Travel between schools within the district to provide support as needed
• Evaluate students for Assistive Technology needs
• Recommend and help implement AT supports, accommodations, and adaptive devices
• Consult with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster inclusion
• Document assessments and progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide training and guidance to staff regarding assistive devices
