Occupational Therapist School Setting in Irving, TX

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-8th grade students as a dedicated school-based Occupational Therapist. This full-time, contract role offers a dynamic schedule across two nearby campuses and runs from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027. What you bring:

• Active licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Texas
• Experience providing OT services in a school setting, ideally with K-8th grade students
• Ability to deliver both direct and indirect services tailored to individual student needs
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational abilities for managing caseload documentation and IEP participation

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments to determine student eligibility and need for OT support
• Developing intervention plans and implementing individualized therapy sessions
• Collaborating closely with educators and support staff to integrate OT goals within classroom environments
• Monitoring progress, maintaining compliance with documentation standards, and contributing to student IEP meetings
• Supporting students’ participation in daily school activities, fostering independence and motor skill development
