This full-time, contract role offers a dynamic schedule across two nearby campuses and runs from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027. What you bring:
- Active licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Texas
- Experience providing OT services in a school setting, ideally with K-8th grade students
- Ability to deliver both direct and indirect services tailored to individual student needs
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational abilities for managing caseload documentation and IEP participation
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to determine student eligibility and need for OT support
- Developing intervention plans and implementing individualized therapy sessions
- Collaborating closely with educators and support staff to integrate OT goals within classroom environments
- Monitoring progress, maintaining compliance with documentation standards, and contributing to student IEP meetings
- Supporting students’ participation in daily school activities, fostering independence and motor skill development
