Occupational Therapist School Setting in Irving, TX

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Texas
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based therapy documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and students
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt interventions to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic interventions to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate treatment records and progress notes in compliance with school and state standards
• Participate in team meetings, providing expertise and support on OT-related concerns
• Communicate regularly with school staff, families, and other service providers to coordinate effective care
• Provide ongoing consultation and training to support staff, as needed
