Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Mississippi (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans to maximize their educational success
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to ensure best outcomes for each student
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Support school-wide initiatives to enhance accessibility and student engagement
