Occupational Therapist School Setting in Jamestown, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Active certification as an Occupational Therapist from the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of best practices for assessment, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goal development, and therapeutic interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify student occupational therapy needs
• Develop clear and measurable goals tailored to each student’s requirements
• Deliver evidence-based, appropriate intervention services
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as required
• Adapt to evolving caseload details to best serve students throughout the assignment
