Occupational Therapist School Setting in Janesville, WI

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting elementary students with occupational therapy services. This in-person role is based near Janesville, WI, and offers both full-time (40 hours per week) and flexible part-time (.5 or above FTE) options to fit your availability. Set within a vibrant EC-5th grade environment, you'll play a key role in helping young learners build the skills they need for academic and personal success.

Schedule runs from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours meetings for collaboration and professional development. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Wisconsin, or eligibility to obtain
• Strong background in school-based OT, with knowledge of interventions for elementary-age children (EC-5th grade)
• Experience in one or more of the following: schools, home health, or healthcare settings
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and participation in multidisciplinary meetings
• Ability to provide hands-on, in-person therapy and classroom support

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive needs
• Conduct assessments, contribute to IEP planning, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in after-hours meetings as needed for team planning and consultation
• Offer guidance to parents and teachers on strategies to support students in the classroom and at home
