Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current New Jersey Occupational Therapy license
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred, specifically working with children in PreK-4th grade
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and supporting diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students, both individually and in group settings
  • Conduct assessments to determine developmental needs and create individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines and classroom activities
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting treatment plans as needed and maintaining compliance with all required school and state protocols
  • Provide valuable resources and training to educators and parents for carryover of therapeutic strategies
