School Occupational Therapist | Jersey City, New Jersey

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey
• Prior experience working in school settings or with school-aged children
• Ability to provide OT services in both school and home environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
• Comfort with a flexible, very part-time schedule

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that address academic and functional goals
• Deliver occupation-based therapy services on-site at the school and in students’ homes
• Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to maximize students’ progress
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of each session and communicate regularly with the broader educational team
