Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy or equivalent is required
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility before assignment begins)
• Background in school-based occupational therapy, home health, healthcare or teletherapy settings preferred
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary through high school students
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
• Energetic, adaptable, and compassionate approach to student service delivery

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 population
• Carry out assessments, create treatment plans, and document progress in educational settings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families for integrated care
• Adapt interventions to individual student needs, both in-person and via teletherapy as required
• Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and school teams
