Step into an engaging role as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting elementary through high school students for the upcoming academic year. In this contract opportunity, you’ll work with a dynamic school setting near Joliet, IL, providing essential therapy services in-person and potentially using teletherapy resources.

Your expertise in school-based OT, home health, general healthcare settings, and teletherapy will help meet diverse student needs, promoting greater independence and success in their academic and daily activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Occupational Therapy license or eligibility in Illinois
• Experience in school settings, home health, or healthcare environments
• Comfort providing services both in-person and via teletherapy
• Ability to adapt to K-12 caseloads and support students with varied backgrounds and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans for students in need of occupational therapy services
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home environments
• Document session notes and monitor progress to ensure successful outcomes
• Provide support, education, and resources to staff and parents as needed
• Maintain compliance with state and school regulations and policies
