Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure
  • Eligible for Illinois state OT licensure (new grads may apply if pending)
  • Experience in school-based, healthcare, home health, or teletherapy settings is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and educational teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to IEP goals
  • Assess and document student progress while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Consult with educators, administrators, and families to support inclusive educational practices
  • Adapt therapy sessions to meet a variety of student needs and learning environments
  • Maintain accurate and timely records for student files and district reporting
