Occupational Therapist School Setting - Joliet, IL

What You Need to Bring:

• Proven experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist
• Active and current Illinois OT licensure
• Availability to work in an on-site, in-person capacity
• Strong collaboration skills for working closely with an early childhood diagnostic team
• Flexibility in managing a dynamic caseload as student needs evolve
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, therapeutic learning environment

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct OT services to students, initially starting with a caseload of about 30
• Participate in ongoing evaluation processes alongside the early childhood diagnostic team
• Assess students’ needs for occupational therapy services in the school setting
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements
• Communicate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistency and effectiveness in service delivery

Your schedule will run from 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM, offering 37.5 to 40 hours each week. The position provides a structured environment ideal for those passionate about making a positive contribution.
