Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Georgia (required)
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
  • Skilled in delivering therapeutic services within schools, home health, and healthcare environments
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Open to new graduates with relevant fieldwork, as well as seasoned professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students from PreK through high school
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Adapt therapy approaches to serve students in both traditional school and potential home health settings
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Foster an inclusive, encouraging learning environment
