Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Georgia (required)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Skilled in delivering therapeutic services within schools, home health, and healthcare environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Open to new graduates with relevant fieldwork, as well as seasoned professionals
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students from PreK through high school
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Adapt therapy approaches to serve students in both traditional school and potential home health settings
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging learning environment
