Make an impact as a school-based Occupational Therapist serving students with a range of sensory and fine motor needs in a highly collaborative and supportive environment. This engaging, contract-based opportunity runs from August 26th, 2026, to June 9th, 2027, with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week and a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students. The position is designed for onsite service delivery and provides some flexibility, with the possibility to shift to a four-day week depending on staffing.

Key Qualifications:

  • Credentials as an Occupational Therapist (OT) with active licensure.
  • Experience in school settings and familiarity with IEP development and documentation.
  • Comfort and capability in addressing both sensory processing and fine motor development.
  • Adaptability for serving diverse elementary and secondary student populations.
  • Bonus: Background in home health, teletherapy, or as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) highly valued.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions tailored to students’ sensory and fine motor needs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure student progress and holistic care.
  • Develop and update treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation to support IEP goals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student evaluations and progress reports.
  • Provide direct therapy both individually and in small group formats within the school setting.
