Openings are available for two full-time Occupational Therapists to contribute to K-12 educational settings for both the current and the upcoming 26/27 school year. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ ability to access their education through expert evaluation, intervention, and collaboration within school communities.

Preferred candidates will bring a passion for student advocacy and a proactive approach to meeting varied needs across elementary, middle, and high school populations. You'll have the opportunity to creatively foster fine and gross motor skill development, address functional and sensory needs, and support teachers and families with strategies—making a real difference in students' school experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active certification/licensure as an OT or COTA
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy is preferred
  • Solid knowledge of fine and gross motor skill development
  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families across the K-12 spectrum
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Adaptability to different school environments and caseload dynamics

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services and consultative support for K-12 students
  • Assess and address fine and gross motor needs, sensory integration, and adaptive skills within the school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
  • Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to foster student independence and participation
