Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) / Occupational Therapist (OT)

North Kansas City Schools is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with consideration given to qualified Occupational Therapists (OTs), to join our special education team for the remainder of the school year. This is an exciting opportunity to support students across multiple educational settings while working alongside a collaborative team of professionals.

Position Details
Assignment Dates: ASAP through May 28
Schedule: Full-Time
Supervision: Provided by the district's Occupational Therapy team
Caseload: Approximately 30-35 students

Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services and support to students as outlined in their educational plans
Deliver direct therapy services throughout the school day
Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Maintain accurate documentation and service records
Travel between assigned school locations as needed
