3rd Grade 2nd Grade Occupational Therapist School Setting - Katy, TX

Exciting opportunity now available for a talented Occupational Therapist to support students across a range of grade levels, including Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and High School, during a maternity leave coverage. This school-based contract position begins April 13th, 2026, and continues through the end of the school year.

You’ll play a meaningful role in helping students reach their potential by collaborating with educators and families, providing essential therapeutic interventions, and supporting diverse learning needs. This assignment is located near Katy, TX and offers both part-time and full-time options. A hybrid schedule may also be available for qualified candidates, allowing for some flexibility while ensuring vital in-person services.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Texas
• Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, students, and families
• Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple grade levels, adapting interventions for different ages and needs
• Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in multiple grade levels, both individually and in groups
• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to implement services and track progress
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt interventions to be age-appropriate, engaging, and effective
