Occupational Therapist School Setting in Keene, NH

This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a certified Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping children succeed both academically and personally. You'll work primarily with elementary-aged students, offering targeted support through direct sessions and collaboration with dedicated educators.

Qualifications:

• Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist (OT) certification required
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT role is highly desirable
• Strong background in providing OT interventions that address students' academic and developmental needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to plan and deliver individualized therapy sessions in both group and one-on-one settings

Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT services to elementary students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct OT sessions to a charter school student: 2x weekly pull-out for 30 minutes, plus 1x weekly push-in for 30 minutes (morning sessions available before elementary school hours)
• Complete relevant documentation, session notes, and progress reports per school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective strategies
• Adapt therapy approaches to facilitate student participation and learning in school activities
