Your skills in school-based occupational therapy will be valued as you collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to help students reach their fullest potential. This position is 35 hours per week with a focus on in-person, hands-on engagement—no virtual-only services required.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain by the start date)
  • Previous experience working as an OT in educational or pediatric settings, especially with elementary-age students
  • Strong evaluation, documentation, and IEP development skills
  • Ability to travel between two nearby school locations as needed
  • Effective communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Collaborative spirit and flexibility

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classroom and small group settings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
  • Complete thorough documentation in compliance with school and district policies
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
