A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available for a contract role beginning mid to late January, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This opportunity is based in Kent, WA, within a school setting.

The role involves delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services to support students’ development and ability to participate effectively in their educational environment. Therapies will be tailored to meet individual student needs, helping to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities. The position may also incorporate teletherapy components to provide flexible and accessible care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for students from K-12.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs and monitor progress.
  • Provide direct therapy services both in-person and through teletherapy platforms.
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school and healthcare regulations.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Washington.
  • Experience providing OT services in school settings, healthcare, or home health environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy delivery and related technologies is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.
