Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a contract role beginning ASAP and continuing through the end of the school year, with the opportunity to renew for the next academic year. Located in the greater Kent/Tacoma area, this position offers a dynamic environment and the chance to collaborate with educational teams dedicated to helping students thrive.

What we're seeking:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington
  • At least two years of professional OT experience (preferred)
  • Active Medicaid provider number required
  • Up-to-date CAQH profile and credentialing with insurance companies
  • Experience in a school setting highly valued
  • Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT assessments and individualized therapy to students on your assigned caseload
  • Work closely with educators, staff, and families to support student learning and participation
  • Develop and implement IEP/504 plan goals, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate, timely records
  • Adapt interventions and materials based on student needs and feedback from teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and interprofessional collaborations

This full-time position offers 35 hours per week, providing you with consistent scheduling and the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues. Specific caseload details will be shared as they become available, allowing the right OT to step in and make an immediate impact.
