Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington State (WA OT)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based OT, with a focus on elementary caseloads
- Background in occupational therapy within healthcare or home health settings
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education and therapy plans
- Not open to COTA candidates for this assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations for elementary students
- Design and carry out individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive care
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with all school and state guidelines
- Provide consultative services and resources to support student success in classroom environments
