You’ll be working in an engaging school setting near Kent, WA for the 2026-2027 academic year, with the opportunity to impact young learners’ lives every day.
Your schedule will be a consistent 35 hours per week, running from early September through mid-June, with the possibility of participating in valuable training days in August. You’ll collaborate with education and healthcare professionals, craft creative interventions, and guide students in skill-building to foster participation and independence within the school environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Washington Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Previous experience delivering OT services in school or pediatric settings
- Background in home health or general healthcare OT is a plus
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs for elementary-age students
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Position is not open to COTAs at this time
Key responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to elementary school students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and report on progress
- Engage with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as needed
- Adapt interventions to meet the diverse learning and physical needs of students
