School Occupational Therapist | Kent, Washington

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students from preschool through 12th grade as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic educational environment located near Kent, WA. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist or eligible for licensure in Washington state
• Previous experience or strong interest in school-based therapy
• Skillful in providing OT services across a diverse range of ages and developmental needs
• Comfortable with a weekly schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours and flexibility in start/end times as assignments and meetings require
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Capacity to manage up to 950 direct service minutes per week across a varied caseload

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group OT services to students ages pre-K through 12th grade
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to design and implement effective student-centered interventions
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to assessment, goal development, and progress monitoring
• Provide consultative support to school staff on strategies for student inclusion and access to the curriculum
