School Occupational Therapist - Kent, Washington

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with children or adolescents in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and other therapy plans
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and creating an inclusive environment
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group OT services to students according to IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Document services, maintain records, and comply with state and federal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team consultations
• Provide guidance on adaptive equipment, sensory strategies, and classroom modifications
