An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Occupational Therapist to make a positive difference in school-based settings near Kent, WA. This contract role allows you to work directly with students, fostering growth and enhancing their ability to access the educational environment. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to develop strategies and implement individualized plans that address developmental and educational needs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to provide assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
  • Passion for supporting the diverse needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and interpret assessment data for students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions to promote student participation and functional independence in the school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians to support students’ IEP goals
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
  • Provide trainings and resources to school staff as needed
