In this contract position, your expertise will help foster student independence, engagement, and participation in daily school activities. Working collaboratively with educators and families, you’ll play a key role in delivering tailored therapy services that address each child’s unique needs.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
  • Organized, flexible, and passionate about helping children succeed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy services to students with various developmental, physical, or sensory needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, supporting each student’s educational goals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to create and review IEPs
  • Consult with educators, staff, and families to recommend accommodations and support student success in the classroom
  • Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and complete all required documentation in a timely manner
  • Provide training and education for school staff on OT strategies and supports
