Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist license for the state of Idaho (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience providing OT services within a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation practices
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective therapy interventions for K-12 students
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Compassion, patience, and a collaborative approach with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in line with IEP goals
• Support students’ participation in classroom and school activities through therapeutic strategies
• Document progress and maintain required records in compliance with school and legal standards
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and support staff to align interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress reviews
• Provide recommendations for classroom adaptations and supports to enhance student success
