Occupational Therapist School Setting - King, NC

This is a contract opportunity for a dedicated OT or a highly experienced OTA with a background in educational settings.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist (OT) license or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
• Demonstrated experience working in school-based settings
• Strong familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Ability to collaborate with educational teams, families, and related service providers
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and compassionate approach to working with students of varying abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for development
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within classroom, small group, or one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student participation and success in school activities
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress notes in compliance with all regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide informed recommendations for accommodations or modifications
