Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Valid OT license for Pennsylvania
- Prior experience in a school setting or with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with IEPs and special education environments is a plus
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to middle and high school students based on IEP requirements
- Evaluate students to develop individualized treatment plans focused on academic and daily life success
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to integrate OT strategies within the school day
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer consultative support to school staff and parents around OT interventions
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Schedule: Four days weekly at the middle school (7:45am-3:00pm); one day per week at the high school (7:30am-2:30pm)
