A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available in a school-based setting located in Lawrenceville, VA. This role focuses on providing occupational therapy services to students aged 3 to 18 years, supporting their academic success and full participation in school activities through tailored interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Deliver direct therapy to students in both individual and group formats.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions when necessary.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid and current Virginia state Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dedication to working with pediatric populations, emphasizing fine and gross motor skill development.
• Familiarity with teletherapy and home health settings is a plus but not required.
