Occupational Therapist School Setting - Laconia, NH

Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, working 37.5 hours per week, beginning August 31, 2026, and concluding June 17, 2027.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active state Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility)
• Previous experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Knowledge of assistive technologies and adaptive equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to a diverse student population across varying grade levels
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ unique needs and recommended interventions
• Collaborate closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs
• Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Support students in building fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills
• Educate and guide school staff and families in strategies for classroom and home use
