Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington State
• Previous experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt and work collaboratively with various school team members

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ needs, providing direct occupational therapy services to support participation in school activities
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive skills
• Participate in IEP meetings, documenting progress and sharing recommendations with teachers and families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster accessible, inclusive classroom environments
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to promote student independence and success
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
