School Occupational Therapist - Lake Stevens, Washington

Skills and Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license (Washington State or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes, accommodations, and educational documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Compassionate, patient, and driven to support students’ growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to identify student needs within the educational setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans and goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct and consultative services in classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one settings
• Engage in ongoing communication with educators, staff, and families regarding student progress and strategies
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation according to school and state requirements
• Facilitate adaptive strategies and recommend assistive devices to maximize students’ participation and independence
