Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and school documentation
• Ability to provide direct and consultative OT services to diverse student populations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Dedication to fostering student independence and educational participation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities, motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive needs within the school environment
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure each student's success
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports, adhering to all state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute assessment findings to multidisciplinary teams
• Offer training and resources to educators and parents for continued student support
