Grades 6 - 8 Certified School Occupational Therapist - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Make a positive impact in the school community by supporting students through occupational therapy services on a full-time contract basis. Work with a primarily elementary school caseload, along with some middle school students, and help learners reach their full potential in both academic and daily living skills.

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist certification required
• Experience working with students in grades K-8 preferred
• Comfortable adapting interventions for a range of developmental stages from early childhood through middle school
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage schedules and caseloads independently
• Commitment to supporting individualized student goals in a school setting

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, focused on improving students’ fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to monitor progress and modify interventions as needed
• Document evaluations, progress reports, and therapy notes in accordance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on OT strategies to support educational access
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices and regulatory requirements
