Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Prior experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable collaborating with educators and families to deliver effective interventions
- Adept at conducting assessments and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Passion for helping young learners realize their potential
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with varying needs during the ESY program
- Evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, adaptive, and self-help skills to determine therapy goals
- Collaboratively develop and implement individualized therapy interventions aligned with IEPs
- Monitor and document student progress toward identified outcomes
- Communicate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to promote continuity of care
- Adapt to the unique dynamics and schedule of summer programming
