Step into a dynamic school environment as an Occupational Therapist supporting students from Kindergarten through High School. You’ll provide essential services during a maternity leave, directly impacting young learners at various academic levels—including 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. This in-person contract position runs from April 13th, 2026 through the end of the school year, offering the flexibility of both full-time and part-time schedules. Hybrid work options are also considered.

Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Strong experience working with school-aged children, spanning Kindergarten to High School
  • Ability to design and implement therapy plans tailored to various grade levels (K-4, high school)
  • Collaborative communicator with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous school-based OT experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services—both in-person and hybrid, as applicable
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational team’s decision-making process
  • Communicate regularly with families and staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student
