Step into a dynamic school-based role providing vital occupational therapy services for PreK-8th grade students over the 2026-2027 academic year. Work full-time with a manageable 40-hour work week, collaborating with a supportive educational community. This contract opportunity spans multiple sites, offering variety and the chance to impact a broad range of learners.

In this position, you’ll deliver in-person OT services (teletherapy is not included at this time), helping students develop the skills they need to succeed both in the classroom and beyond. Your expertise will play a key role in assessing needs, creating individualized interventions, and working alongside dedicated educators and family members to foster student growth.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Background in school-based occupational therapy, particularly with PreK-8th grade students
  • Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
  • Ability to adapt interventions across a range of learning needs and age groups
  • Experience collaborating on multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfort working across multiple campus settings
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to their IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments, write reports, and determine student eligibility and needs
  • Develop and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation and progress
  • Maintain compliant records and documentation for student files
  • Travel between sites as needed during the school year
