In this contract position, you’ll provide direct services and guidance, helping students with diverse needs successfully participate in daily school activities. You'll engage in hands-on therapy, assessment, and intervention planning tailored to individual education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Pediatric or school-based OT experience is highly valued
  • Proficiency developing and implementing therapy plans for a range of student abilities
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Commitment to providing services exclusively in person
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic school setting
  • Flexibility to begin as soon as possible and/or for the 2026/2027 school year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals
  • Conduct thorough assessments and create data-driven intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Document treatment, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate and train staff and families to reinforce therapy goals and strategies
