The annual salary ranges from $65,500 to $76,000, depending on your experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in Maryland
- Experience in schools, healthcare, home health, or teletherapy settings
- Prior experience with pediatric and adolescent populations, particularly in high school settings
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other therapists
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for high school students
- Provide both direct and consultative occupational therapy services within school settings
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations and school policies
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff, support teams, and families to support students’ educational and functional goals
- Adapt interventions for virtual/teletherapy if needed
- Attend school-related meetings and participate in IEP development as appropriate
