Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based OT settings, working with PreK–8th grade students
- Competency in home health OT practices and general healthcare OT
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement effective treatment for diverse pediatric populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with staff and families
- Flexibility, organization, and a commitment to evidence-based practice
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to meet IEP goals for students across PreK–8th grades
- Conduct assessments and document findings, progress, and recommendations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Consult with teachers and support staff to adapt classroom environments and routines
- Involve families in therapy goals, providing training and resources as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
- Provide services in both traditional school and home-based settings as required
