Use your expertise in school-based OT to collaborate with educators, families, and staff, designing and implementing effective therapeutic interventions. Your focus will be on helping students develop functional skills that promote independence and academic success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Arkansas Occupational Therapist license is required
  • Proven background in school-based occupational therapy
  • Strong communication skills for building relationships with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload, including IEP documentation and progress tracking
  • Familiarity with sensory integration, fine and gross motor skill development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Evaluate student abilities, develop goals, and document progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and personal development
  • Conduct screenings and assessments as needed
  • Offer recommendations and training to educators and families to facilitate student success in and out of the classroom
